Crab Orchard Museum & Pioneer Park has a variety of wedding ceremony and reception packages to fit every bride’s budget and need.  

To obtain a wedding application or for more information, please contact Cindy Ringstaff, Visitor Services Coordinator, at 276-988-6755 or cringstaff@craborchardmuseum.com.  This application is for all wedding events, including rehearsal dinners and receptions.  No date is reserved until the application has been approved by museum staff and deposit received.  All dates are subject to availability and scheduled around museum events. 

Please Note: For the protection of the artifacts, building grounds, and visitors, the museum’s policy restricts the relocation of exhibits and artifacts. 
No artifacts, such as horse-drawn equipment, will be removed from the Red Barn.

Package A: Intimate

Intimate Wedding: $800 (125 guests maximum)

  • Cabin Porches, Museum Grounds

  • Red Barn with restroom, water, electrical, heat/AC, Large Preparation Kitchen.

  • 10 round & 8 rec. tables and 125 chairs, White tablecloths included.

  • Sheltered picnic area , 12 picnic tables and seating for 90

  •  Day Before Set-Up, and Day of Clean-Up ,

    • Small Tents, P.A. system, acoustic music and dance floor allowed

    • All tents  and dance floors must be removed from the premises on the same day as the event

  • Ceremony rehearsal included (Sit down Rehearsal Dinner not included)

  • Bride & wedding party fitting room

  • $20 per Hour After Hours Staffing Fees Will Apply (After hrs. 5:00 - 10:00)

  • 25% Discount on The Cottage at Crab Orchard, if available

Package B: Classic

Classic Wedding: $1,500 (250 guests maximum) 

  • Red Barn with restroom, water, electrical, heat/AC, Large Preparation Kitchen

  • 195 chairs, 15 round and 10 rectangular tables. White tablecloths are available. for both.

  • Picnic Shelter with picnic tables with seating up to 90. Cabin Porches and Museum Grounds.

  • Museum Center Lobby, Conference room, Museum Kitchen, and Restrooms.

  • Day before Set-Up, and Day after Event Clean-Up.

    • Rented full size tents, dance floors, and dance bands with P.A.s allowed.

    • Dance floors must be removed within 2 days of the event.

    • Tent set up the day before and removal of tent or tents up to 2 days after the event, unless another event is scheduled for the following days.

  • Set-up the day before does include functions such as the Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinners.

  • Bride & wedding party fitting room.

  • 50% off The Cottage at Crab Orchard, rental if available.

  • No after hours staffing fees required up to 11:00 pm.
