Annual Primitive Mountain Man Rendezvous

June 11 - 12, 2021

Come out and join in as history comes alive in the Pioneer Park!

Living history interpreters are in attendance in the park each day until 5:00 PM.
The public is invited to tour the campsites and view the demonstrations.
Demonstrations in woodworking, blacksmithing, black powder shooting, and more will be held.

Members: FREE!
Adults: $5
Families: $10

Admission to Rendezvous includes a self-guided tour of the museum center's Lucie Greever Gallery permanent exhibitions.

FRIDAY, MAY 25

LIFE ON THE FRONTIER LIVING HISTORY DAY
PUBLIC WELCOME!

Students experience first hand how our pioneer and Native American ancestors lived as they participate in hands on skills such as shooting a bow, black powder demonstrations, rolling cartridges, singing songs, churning butter, hide tanning, fire making, games, wood work, and cooking over an open fire.

 

SATURDAY, MAY 26

The encampment is open to the public from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

11:00 AM – 3:00 PM:  Living history demonstrations including: black powder riflery, hide tanning, archery, fire making, campfire cooking, and woodworking.

1:00 PM – 1:30 PM:  Pioneer Games
